Ben: Male, age 46
Title: President and COO of Sega Entertainment International, Inc., Founder of Crazy CrepesTM and Founder of Crazy Bubble TeaTM
Goals: Lose weight
Tiger and I started working together 10 months ago. I was getting old and fat. I knew unless I did something about it, I would get older and fatter. But I don't have the time or the motivation to go to a crowded gym on my own.
When I first met Tiger, I knew it was a good fit. She's personable, approachable, and totally committed to making workouts work for me. Her flexible hours made it easy to fit workouts into my crazy schedule. We started slowly with exercise that strengthened muscles I would need later. Over the first 4 months, I lost 10 pounds, and dropped from a size 40 waist to a size 36. She never reimbursed me for the new clothes though.
I had lower back pain every day, and by the fifth month of working out with Tiger, my back pain was gone! I started playing softball with people half my age and playing tennis with my teenage son, totally pain free, and with agility I hadn't had in years.
Now, I'm working on getting to a target weight in less than 45 days from now. Tiger has promised me a trip to Cancun if we don't make it. So I'm loading up on ice cream. But she's loading up on cardio, so I will probably have to spend my spring break here.
I'm the kind of person who won't do the exercise on my own. But I also don't want to let others down. Having Tiger around makes me want to do the workout, because she's the kind of person you don't want to let down.

Sayandro: Male, age 48
Title: Director of Technology in packaging industry
Goals: Get fit, decrease back pain, improve tennis game
I'm a new man with more muscle, a smaller waist, a lot less back pain.
The last time I felt so fit was in college when I was playing tennis 5 days a week.
But let me put this into context. I'm 48 years old and have played tennis all my life though I could tell I was no longer as fit by the time I hit 40. Gravity took hold and playing tennis was not enough any more. This was complicated by the fact that my job requires me to travel a lot. I typically log 100,000 miles a year, traveling 3 weeks a month. Work consists of sitting in a plane, sitting in a car and sitting in meetings. When I'm not traveling I'm sitting at a computer in the office.
At the time I met Tiger, she was working in a high-end gym with 12 other trainers. I watched each trainer and decided I liked her fun personality. Once I started working with her I respected her expertise and competence in showing me how to understand my body and posture. We sat down and she listened to my background and developed a personalized program for my body:
Working in the gym together, I learned what my body needs. By working out only twice a week in the gym (20 minutes cardio and the remainder in the weight room) I lost 2 inches in my waist, gained muscle and strength, and my back pain is as good as gone. People tell me I look good and I feel great.

Title: Professor of Voice at Pomona College and Soprano in the Los Angeles Master Chorale
Goals: Lose weight and increase energy
I'm a professional, classically trained soprano in the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Professor of Voice at Pomona College.
When Tiger and I began working out at The Claremont Club in 2005, I was physically and emotionally exhausted from my heavy work schedule. But Tiger was literally a breath of fresh air that allowed me to recharge my battery.
First, stamina, proper breathing and proper body alignment are vital for a singer, and she had a unique ability to zero in on my needs. I was greatly pleased with how well our workouts improved my singing. Much of the language she used in instructing me I have since used with my own students.
Second, she was full of energy, enthusiasm and positive reinforcement. I found that my spirits were lifted when I was around her, which gave me a renewed energy to continue my work with enthusiasm and professionalism.
I was sad to see her leave The Claremont Club, but recommend her whole heartedly. I know her knowledge, training and positive energy are invaluable.
Terri: Female, age 50
Title: Office manager of an antique store
Goals: Lose weight
Being a 5 foot 11 inch woman, I'm aware of my presence when I walk into a room. I dress nicely and keep myself in shape by running. I played sports in high school and college and have been a runner for 25 years. I even have a few marathons under my belt. Up until recently, I thought running was enough. But I felt fat and out of shape. Subconsciously, I began to slouch and dress down. And my back was in pain.
I did not know what to do if running marathons was not enough, but I did know I didn't want boring sit-ups. Tiger totally go it. We worked indoors, outdoors and she made each session fun.
Tiger introduced resistance training. Once I got the hang of that, she introduced the exercise ball, then the BOSU, mat Pilates, the agility ladder, the medicine ball and now the Pilates reformer and Pilates chair. She has all the fun toys, and I had a blast learning how to workout my upper body.
I wish I knew then what I know now. After working with Tiger three months, I transformed my upper body. I lost a dress size and my cloths fit as if I lost 20 pounds. To my surprise, what I found was my back no longer hurt. I had, what I thought was typical, aches and pains when getting out of bed or sitting for long times. Maybe the back pain was from the years of running and pounding. But after strengthening my abs and back and improving my posture, I don't creak anymore.
Thanks to Tiger's variety of exercises, knowledge and unlimited enthusiasm, I'm feeling good about my middle-aged body.

Title: Art School Design Student
Goals: Lose weight and tone-up
I have always been really skinny, but because of the stressful lifestyle of school I gained 30 pounds. I lost 15 of it on my own when I hit a plateau. I needed to boost!
Help! I panicked and looked for a trainer. Tiger's rates were reasonable, and her in-home training was so convenient. She and I clicked from day one. Tiger's energy and positive attitude motivated me right out of my rut.
She was able to help me lose 8 pounds in the first month. She taught me a personalized program, and now I'm successfully on my own. Tiger gave me the motivation and expertise I needed to get past my plateau.
But be careful, she kicks your ass. There will be no cheating when working out with Tiger. She is great. Thanks for everything.
Dr. Richard Lam and his Father Mr. Lam: Male, age 81, Parkinson's Disease
Title: Prostate Oncology Specialists, INC.
Goals: Increase strength, maintain mobility and coordination
I contacted Tiger when my father, Mr. Lam, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I wanted to make sure he remained as strong as possible. It has been a stressful situation, but Tiger has made it easier. She has taken a personal interest in my father above and beyond a personal trainer to the point that I consider her part of the family.
Last year was a very challenging year for my father. It was one step forward and two steps back. Dad had two strokes and a pacemaker put in. After the strokes my father was not strong enough for a full hour of training. That made no difference to Tiger. She only books hour training sessions except for my father. She rearranged her schedule to visit 5 days a week, rather than 3, often making a special trip into town just to see my father for half an hour. She has offered to take my father to doctors' appointments and always calls me when dad had a really good day or a day worthy of concern.
My family is thankful to have an additional level of health care for my father. I know I can call upon her for anything, and that my father is in good hands.

Elaine: Female, age 42
Title: Special events business founder and first time mommy
Goals: Increase flexibility, lose weight
"My postpartum was really getting to me. One night my husband came home from work, and I literally handed him the baby, got in the car and drove away to save my sanity. But that all changed when I started exercising with Tiger.
From the beginning, Tiger worked her magic. She knew the stretches my body loves. She progressed me into harder and sweatier exercise. Day one, my body was more balanced, and I was releasing stresses. We exercise with the baby while I sweat and laugh at Tiger's corny jokes. And I love the workouts in the park!!!
Originally, I calculated the cost of a nanny and a personal trainer. Tiger was a lot cheaper than a nanny. Now that I have my sanity back, I can raise my baby myself without a nanny and set a great example for my son. I whole heartedly recommend Tiger."

Tiger has given me a peace of mind and an improved quality of life. And I'm still getting stronger."

Title: Medical devise business founder
Goals: Lose weight
"Tiger is my colleague in fitness. She is committed to me, and my good health and moving me up the steep climb of becoming active. A confirmed work-a-holic, I just have not put the time into developing a healthy exercise routine as I have in developing my business. With Tiger on my side, I know I can. She is a professional who understands how to motivate, isolate the muscles that need attention, and to get me to where I want to be. She sends personal reminders - even when it is not a day to work with her - and is always reminding me to put in the time I know I should. Tiger is a winner!"
Don't wait another day to fit fitness into your busy life. Inches and pounds have a way of sneaking onto a body and staying. Years go by and more inches and pounds accumulate. Let today be the difference. Contact me today and start the healthy process of losing weight.
